MLP Fanfiction: The Fall of Starswirl the Bearded Preview of ch1

My very good friend TechnoKino is writing a fanfiction story based loosely on Frozen. It’s a Starswirl turns into Discord story and features Celestia, Luna and Sombra as well as a hoof-full of OCs. Ms Gempire Pony

There’s no other reason for this post other than I wanted to show off my ponysona, I finally decided on a design that I like. Her cutie mark is a bat holding a pencil because I like writing horror stories and the tide on bat wings and head boppers are part of her Nightmare Night costume, it’s her favourite holiday of the year.

I’ve also decided to show a few more of my drawings.

When Does Luna Sleep?

I recently watched a video by BlueStarBrony. If you don’t know who he is, why don’t you? But joking aside he does commentaries and analysis on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. You can check out his YouTube channel here.

Anyways, his recent video was speculating on when Princess Luna sleeps. I have my own opinions on this and I thought I’d write this little article in response.

MLP:FiM fanfic: The First Tea Party

Just a little one shot fanfic I wrote, thought I’d post it here as well. It’s based three weeks after Tirek’s defeat and Discord is experiencing a new feeling he can’t quite explain…

Discord sat in his thinking tree, his head in his hands. He looked out over the acre of Equestria Celestia had given him where he was allowed to release his chaos unfettered. Usually he took pride in turning the pathways to soap, making lawns of multi coloured, patchwork grass and his personal favourite, chocolate milk showers falling from cotton candy clouds. Today however, he had made the land look like a particular part of Equestria.

It was a little clearing on the edge of a forest, a babbling brook with a little bridge over it. A winding dirt path that led through a grassy, flower filled meadow up to the cottage door. Many birdhouses took up all the available branch space in the nearest trees, and animal homes were hidden amongst the grass. The cottage itself looked almost as if it had grown out of the land. It was the perfect replica of Fluttershy’s cottage and garden. He couldn’t figure out why he’d made his little pocket of chaos look this way.

This is just a quick one, sort of.

When writing my ramble about moons and Sunset Shimmer, I remembered something someone had posted, and I apologise but I can’t even recall where it was posted, never mind who posted it, but it was something about hatching the egg being a test to discover who the Bearer of the Element of Magic is rather than being the actual entry test into the school. Another one was that there are different types of dragon, as there are different types of pony. The ones who are most commonly seen are the dragon equivalent of pegasi, that’s why they have wings. Due to needing to fly they live above ground and are therefore most likely to be witnessed. As for other dragon types? Well there’s one, unique example, Spike himself.

Now he may share traits with other dragons, such as having thick scales that allow them to withstand extreme heat, even bathing in lava, having a diet that requires gemstones, and breathing fire.
